About MeHi! My name is Rachel and I am a potter living in Buffalo, NY. I have an interest in making simple, delicate, functional structures. I have spent the past few years working in porcelain and I don't imagine I will stop anytime soon. I just can't get enough of the translucent quality it provides to my small, thin wares.
In 2006, I received a B.A. in studio art from Greenville College, Greenville, IL. I have studied at Alfred University in Summer Ceramics in 2005 and 2006, and spent 2009 at Red Dirt Studio, Mt. Rainier, MD, with Margaret Boozer. |
